The Monterey Institute of International Studies (in Monterey, California), a small, highly respected private graduate school offering Masters Degrees in a range of international fields, offers preferential consideration to AFS Returnees (from all countries) for scholarships ranging from $4,000-$14,000 per year.
The scholarships are competitive and merit-based for students interested in international careers. The next priority deadline for application is October 1, 2006 (for the Spring 2007 semester). Application deadlines for the Fall 2007 semester is December 1, 2006 February 1, 2007, and March 15, 2007.
